Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026

1. Information We Collect

When you use EvntLah we may collect:

  • Account information — your name and email address provided by Google OAuth when you sign in.
  • Event data — event names, host names, and configuration you create.
  • Photos — images uploaded by you or your event guests.
  • Usage data — basic analytics such as page views, device type, and browser to improve the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To operate and maintain the Service.
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions via Stripe.
  • To communicate important service updates.
  • To detect, prevent, and address security issues.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with the following categories of service providers, solely for operating the Service:

  • Google — for authentication (OAuth 2.0).
  • Stripe — for payment processing.
  • Cloud infrastructure providers — for hosting and object storage.

4. Data Retention

All tiers serve full-resolution images — the only per-file restriction is a 5 MB limit; larger files are automatically compressed to fit. Free-tier accounts have limited storage. Paid subscribers receive a larger storage allowance that renews monthly with their subscription. Photos remain accessible until deleted by the host. If a subscription ends, your data is retained for 6 months. Resubscribing within that window restores full access. After 6 months of inactivity, data may be permanently deleted.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser localStorage to persist your authentication token, uploader token, and theme preference. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

6. Your Rights

You may:

  • Request a copy of your personal data.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data.
  • Withdraw consent by signing out and deleting your events.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed tokens, and parameterised database queries. However, no method of electronic transmission is 100 % secure.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the Service. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
